Experience nature at the Mulde reservoir

Discover the flora and fauna of the Mulde reservoir

On the edge of the Düben Heath Nature Park, the Mulde reservoir has become an exciting and valuable habitat for rare and endangered animal species. The HAUS AM SEE is a venue for teaching, education and meetings also offering an extensive permanent exhibition detailing the history of the Mulde reservoir and its species-rich flora and fauna.

A camera at the eyrie of an osprey enables live broadcasts, offering exciting insights into the routines of this locally rare bird. Follow the events at the eyrie live or browse through earlier recordings and learn more about the behavior of the osprey and other animals around the eyrie.

The baroque church of Burgkemnitz regularly hosts concerts, organ recitals and festivals. Professional soloists, chamber music ensembles, music students and hobbyists also perform here.
