Lindau: circular route

This short trail highlights historical monuments, geological explorations and modern forest conversion. Starting near a medieval castle, hikers experience one of the most important rivers of the Fläming, the Nuthe, and marvel at a massive glacial erratic. Lindau (today a part of Zerbst) has a memorial to the wars of liberation against Napoleon and a Romanesque fieldstone church.

Jeber-Bergfrieden: circular route

Students of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences helped design this nature trail as part of their research into ways to upgrade the touristic value of Jeber-Bergfrieden. They focused on history, land management, flora and fauna. This walk allows hikers to experience the Fläming landscapes in a short time. Fifteen information panels provide visitors with the knowledge necessary for a better understanding of the area.

Circular route: Elbe and Fläming

On this circular route, hikers discover the scenic diversity of the Fläming Nature Park and the Biosphere Reserve Middle Elbe. Highlights of the tour are the nature trail at the Bismarckstieg, the Bismarck tower on the Hubertus Mountain and a path connected to Luther (the Luthersteig”) leading to Möllensdorf. On the way back to Coswig, hikers enjoy a beautiful view of the nature park from the Apollen Mountain.

Visitors can enjoy modern art in Bülzig, while the Külso mill will take them back into the past. The old mill is now a restaurant/excursion site and definitely worth a detour.
