Luther Trail

The Luther Trail is a joint project of churches, tourism associations, municipalities and other sponsors aimed at pilgrims, hikers and visitors interested in the Reformation and its effects. Many stations in cities and smaller towns welcome you, each with its own special theme, offering interesting insights that allow you to engage with Martin Luther and other reformers.

European long-distance path E11

The European long-distance path E11 is a west-east connection, running 2100 km from the Netherlands to the Polish-Belarusian border. The trail enters Saxony-Anhalt in the northern Harz Mountains and traverses the World Heritage region via Thale and Halle (Saale), passing our four UNESCO World Heritage Sites
