Programme of events and free journeys on the Dessau-Wörlitz Railway

On 9 August, you can travel free of charge on the Dessau-Wörlitz Railway between Dessau and Wörlitz (and vice versa). A varied programme of entertainment awaits you both during the journey and at your destinations.

Itinerary from Dessau Central Station (Platform 1)

  - 10:05 a.m., arrival 10:40 a.m. Wörlitz Station
    (every 2 hours)
  - 04:05 p.m., arrival 04:40 p.m. Wörlitz Station

On 9 August 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, journeys on the DWE are free for all guests! 

Dessau – Wörlitz

From Dessau Central Station: 10.05 – 16.05 (every 2 hours)

Wörlitz - Dessau

From Wörlitz station: 11.20 – 17.20 (every 2 hours)

Alternatively, you can use the World Heritage Line 304 between Dessau, Wörlitz and Wittenberg
