WelterbeRegion Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e.V.
The Tourism Association World Heritage Region Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e.V. (WelterbeRegion Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e.V.) is one of the 5 regional tourism associations of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt. The main tasks of the association are the conception and implementation of joint tourism marketing for the districts of Anhalt-Bitterfeld, Wittenberg and the cities of Dessau-Roßlau and Bernburg (Saale). The primary goal of the association's activities is to increase the number of guests and thus stabilise the private tourism industry in the region.
Members are the municipalities and districts of the region, private tourism service providers and associations active in tourism as well as committed individuals.

Together with the tourism association WelterbeRegion Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg e.V. and many other partners, Investitions- und Marketinggesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH (IMG) promotes Saxony-Anhalt as a beautiful destination both nationally and internationally. The IMG's tourism marketing is consistently tailored to the requirements of the market and the needs of the main target groups. Cultural and city travellers, nature enthusiasts, travel and conference organisers as well as multipliers from other sectors are addressed.
With the comprehensive campaign "Echt schön. Sachsen-Anhalt" (Genuinely beautiful. Saxony-Anhalt), the IMG is whetting people's appetites for Saxony-Anhalt as a travel destination. Under the umbrella of the campaign are various theme categories that were created together with the tourism partners: "Echt kulturvoll" (Genuinely Cultural), for example, shows the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the diverse museum landscape, "Echt grün" (Genuinely Green) whisks you away to the gardens an parks as well as biosphere reserves, while "Echt aktiv" (Genuinely Active) highlights the special outdoor adventure as hiking and cycling routes. Things get a little quieter with "Echt köstlich" (Genuinely Delicious), where special restaurants and wine tasting are the focus. The "Echt familiär" (Genuinely Familial) programme offers a wide range of activities for parents and children, while the "Echt besonders" (Genuinely Special) programme takes you to unusual locations such as cave dwellings or the open-cast mining relic Ferropolis, the city of iron.
