The celebrated painter Lucas Cranach the Elder designed the Reformation altar, the star of every guided tour of the town church. You will also discover precious panel paintings by Cranach, an ornately decorated baptismal font by Hermann Vischer, the oldest piece in the church, a magnificent organ and a sacristy with contemporary art.
