Bernburg Zoo (Tiergarten Bernburg)

The Bernburg Zoo holds over 1000 animals of around 120 wild species and domestic breeds on an area of 8,5 hectares in four themed areas (Africa, Eurasia, Australia, America). Visit pygmy goats in the petting enclosure, lemurs, meerkats, brown bears, Bactrian camels, penguins and much more.

The facility has playgrounds, a snack bar and a parking lot. If kept on a short leash, dogs can enter most areas. Goats and sheep may be fed special food available at the ticket office.
