Historic Labor Exchange Dessau
Building by Walter Gropius
In 1928, Walter Gropius won a competition held by the city of Dessau for the construction of the Labor Exchange. A strong rational approach, at the time common for business buildings, characterizes his winning design.
After its renovation in 2002-2003, the building served as the headquarters of the Office for Public Safety and Regulations. Visitors can enter the building during the office’s opening hours.
