Housing Estate with balcony access (Laubenganghäuser) in Dessau

The Laubenganghäuser, built in 1930 under the direction of Hannes Meyer, served as “people’s housing” for the poorer workers and employees. A guided tour lets visitors experience a model apartment restored to its original condition.

In July 2017, the Laubenganghäuser were placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
