Zerbst Museum
The museum’s collections on prehistory and early history, on the history of the town and especially on the Reformation in Zerbst and in the whole of Anhalt inform the focus of the exhibition in the former Francisceum monastery complex.
The beautiful cloisters and vaults of the Francisceum, a former monastery, house the extensive collections of the Zerbst Museum. The historic building itself is a part of the town’s long history, creating a special atmosphere for enjoying art, culture and history. Guided tours of the permanent and special exhibitions are always a treat, and are recommended at any time of year. The Zerbst museum also offers lectures on historical topics.
